The Persatuan Warga Mesra Bukit Rahman Putra (PWMBRP) Sg. Buloh was formed in the month of May 2023 by a team of Pro-tem Committee Save Padang BRP from December 2019 which organized the signature drive. A total of 537 petitioners signed their signatures. 

The PWMBRP was finally registered with ROS on September 2023. The PWMBRP mission is to be the voice of the Bukit Rahman Putra communities and its neighborhoods on advocacy with the local council agencies and state level authorities. 

In Sungai Buloh district, many issues surfaced and affecting the life and hardship of the communities daily. The PWMBRP took up the first initiative, is to save the Padang BRP 7/2, the only green lung of approximate 7.8 acres from being disappeared, where residents and avid park users carry out their daily walks and exercises to improve their healthiness. They do not welcome such non recreational developments such as increase on smoke pollution, safety impact to park users, contributor to heat waves as well climate changes and sustainability, loss of the beauty and tranquility of the Padang environment.

The PWMBRP champion the community grievances on this matter.

Notwithstanding all efforts to establish a communication channel with the local council authority which is Maljis Perbandaran Selayang(MPS) had been fruitless despite numerous trips to their respective departments for clarification and several written letters to local and state level authorities for attentions had fell short. Prominent news coverage and social media had highlighted the community plights too.

We have exhausted all avenues for diplomacy settlement other than to pursuit court action through legal counsel.

Our legal counsel has filed a judicial review in court in year 2023 and obtained from the court a stay of leave order and an interim stop work order at the moment. 

PWMBRP has been pursuing it since 2019 and does not have an idea how long the court process will take its course. Therefore, PWMBRP intend to reach out to the public for donations to start a crowd funding campaign to replenish the legal fund.
